STH is seeking volunteers to help us in support of the current season. We can use help in several areas including stage crewing events, publicity and information dissemination, studio maintenance projects, digitally archiving photos and videos, and summer camp counseling. For a complete listing of current volunteer positions available, please see below and/or meet STH Staff at a Spoke the Hub event.

Please contact spoke@spokethehub.org if you are interested in any of the following:

Studio Maintenance Weeks

Each season, STH needs several skilled handy people and organizers for various odd jobs, repairs, studio maintenance projects including electrical, patching and painting, deep cleaning and laundering, and general “whipping into shape” at both Park Slope and Gowanus locations. Half day and full day shifts are strongly preferred. Our volunteers may sign up for 1-hr of class for each hour volunteered. Please contact spoke@spokethehub.org and let us know your availability and what tasks you are interested in so that we can put your talents to good use!
