Write, act, edit & screen a new film altogether

Collaborative Film-Making

Come together as a group to create a brand new film under the guidance of Justus Snyder (who was literally born into the film when his mother had him as a graduate in film school herself). This process-driven improvisational filmmaking workshop will culminate in the creation of a film that will have its very own premiere the following week!

Topple the “Auteur Theory” in a group-centric and process-driven improvisational filmmaking workshop.  Together as a group we’ll come together to craft a scene using the “Exquisite Corpse” process of writing, that we’ll then workshop our way through defining the context of, filming our results all along the way, which will be edited together to create a short film that stems from embracing the collaborative nature behind all filmmaking.

JUSTUS SNYDER: A native to NYC, Justus is an Artist, Person, and Ordained Universal Life Church Minister, who was literally born into film when his mother had him as a graduate in film school herself, and who then became the subject of her thesis film.  Since then he has continued to pursue that relationship of arts and education working as a teaching artist in the visual and performing arts, while also pursuing personal projects in the arts.
