DOG LOVERS! Screening/ Fundraiser Sat, May 8th at 8pm

To My Dear Dog Loving Friends –

There is a new documentary out – WE DON’T DESERVE DOGS –  by a local film-making couple about dogs around the world – not all rainbows and unicorns so don’t bring kids, but visually beautiful and also heartwarming as well as heartwrenching at times.
STH will be doing an intimate “boutique” screening of this film in our studio at 748 Union Street on Saturday May 8th at 8:00pm and the film-makers will be there to do an informal talk back!
We are asking a minimum $25 donation per person.  Wine, beer, snacks, and maybe a Park Slope Paloma will also be available for you to purchase and keep you “refreshed”  before and during the show :)
I don’t  have a formal flyer made up yet as I am a little overstretched and behind right now (!!!) but I wanted to get the date and time out to you first so you could get a jump on reserving your table if you would like to see the film.  (We will have 8 little cafe tables set up and COVID spaced in the studio with 3-4 chairs per table, so bring your own pod-posse and dibs a table now!
We will also ask that all guests wear masks, be fully vaccinated and show documentation at the door.  (Young ones – let me know if that is a problem so we can figure something else out.)
The film runs about 84 minutes long, and all proceeds will go to IT’S RUFF WITHOUT A ROOF RESCUE which I have been working with as a foster dog-mom during the pandemic.  Eva Armstrong is my superhero there who many Park Slope dog owners know from Eva’s Play Pups.
The film-makers press kit is attached below, should you want more info before the viewing.
Yes, please tell your friends and until we get it up on our website, you can just RSVP me and tell me if you want to reserve a table and who is coming with you.
To happier, healthier days for all two, four and misc. footers!
Elise and Ty (current foster dog from Ruff Without A Roof Rescue – we’ll be there !)
