gowanus sky farmHEAD FARMER / URBAN GARDENING EDUCATOR

While STH waits for the completion of the steel work needed to re-inforce our roof in preparation for the spring installation of the new “Gowanus Sky Farm” (designed by Gwen Schantz of Brooklyn Grange and funded by the DEP), we would like to sign-on a head farmer to create and administrate the new urban gardening programs we envision for the roof next season,  as well as supervise and oversee the planting, growing, harvesting and upkeep of the farm itself. Please send letter of interest and experience to spoke@spokethehub.org then let’s talk.

Also, anyone interested in being involved in any part of the new farm project should also get in touch now. STH hopes to schedule a first group planning meeting in early November: spoke@spokethehub.org.

STH ALUMNI (1985-PRESENT) FOR STUDENT ALUMNI PRODUCTIONS NEXT SPRING

PERFORMERS WHO HAVE PRESENTED WORK AT THE GOWANUS (OR GOWANUS ARTS EXCHANGE) SINCE 1985

STH invites all performing artists who have invested our 3rd floor dance and performance space with your creative energy and artistry over the last three plus decades to take part in our “Gowanus Arts Grand Re: Opening Festivities” next spring. And, if you know artists in our community who have passed away in this time period, please let us know that as well so we can also honor their memory at these re-opening events. spoke@spokethehub.org
