Spoke the Hub hosts a solo exhibit and reception for Haitian artist Honel Plaisime on his first visit to the United States.

Honel is the “artist-in-residence” at the Consolation Center – Haiti (CCH), a new girls’ orphanage and school outside Les Cayes in the south of Haiti.  In addition to creating his own original metal artworks, paintings, and jewelry, he also teaches arts and crafts at the center and is responsible for designing the large, colorful landscapes and murals that grace the walls of the CCH complex.

Amazing health foods chef Sung Uni Lee will prepare the refreshments for the WOW reception with our Creative Clubhouse gang, so come taste their artistry, meet the artist, and enjoy the art of Haiti! And find out more about how you can get involved with the Consolation Center-Haiti!
