Spoke the Hub’s Space @ Gowanus Arts – 295 Douglass St. – Brooklyn
Suggested Donation: $20 per family
Sing, Dance & Make Believe students, past and present, are invited to join Miss Sarah Pope for her 10 year anniversary SDMB Alumni Tea Party on Sunday September 20th from 2:00-4:00pm, at Spoke the Hub’s Space in the Gowanus Arts Building.
“I am so grateful for 10 years of teaching at Spoke the Hub and I want to celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re going! I am hoping to collect donations to start a scholarship fund for our Sing, Dance & Make Believe program, so that a family (or a few) who might not be able to afford it can sign up for a semester of Sing, Dance & Make Believe for ages 2-3 with caregiver.” —Miss Sarah
So… doll yourselves up in your finest fancy dance pants or tutus and skip on down to STH to celebrate being very young – or young at heart – with Miss Sarah and friends.
Have something you might want to perform at the party as part of our first (informal) SDMB Alumni Talent Show? Come ready to share! Please also send us photos of your tiny dancer selves for our “Memory Lane” slideshow and “Name That Baby” contest! FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT: spoke@spokethehub.org or reach out to Sarah at sarah_pope@mail.com RSVP’s welcome but not necessary.
All proceeds will benefit STH’s new PreK Scholarship Fund. Give to underserved little ones, who may not otherwise be able to afford early childhood creative movement classes, the gift of dancing at STH this year! Donations will be collected at the door, and are also welcome but not necessary to attend. Please email photos to Sarah by Sept. 13.
