2018 Artist & Event Line-up

On Saturday June 2, STH will close Union Street between 5th and 6th Avenues to celebrate our 25th annual LOCAL PRODUCE (mini) FESTIVAL of the PERFORMING ARTS. This year, STH is delighted to add a couple of new special events to our well loved roster of free, family friendly workshops and performances by young people and local adult artists-in-residence of many artistic persuasions in addition to dance!

Following our adult professional (mostly) dance showcase under the big top tent, enjoy live music on STH’s stoop while dining outside at the lovely and delicious Rose Water Restaurant across the street, then come on inside Spoke at 7:00pm to learn Swing Dance Basics with Brooklyn Swings. Practice your new moves to the live music of LOCAL PRODUCE’s favorite jazzman, Art Lillard, and his “Blue Heaven” sextet.

This year, STH is also excited to host our first LOCAL PRODUCE AFTER HOURS COMEDY SHOW, curated by writer and funnyman, Gabe Pacheco, featuring 5 hilarious comedians: Carolyn Castiglia, Kerry Coddett, Tyler Fischer, Gabe Pacheco and Amber Rollo.
