WOW Exhibit Featuring New Work By Kat Lopez RECEPTION JUNE 15, 6 to 8 pm

 

Closing out Spoke the Hub’s spring season of

WORKS on the WALL (WOW) Exhibits is final two week show by native, 25 year old New Yorker,

Kat Lopez expresses her love of her Mexican/Honduran heritage – its color, clothing, culture, and traditions.  Kat went to the High School of Art and Design where she became an illustrator and a self-taught manga artist.  She describes this exhibit as ” a big love letter to the culture I grew up with. ”

Come meet the artist on Saturday, June 15th, between 6:00-8:00pm at Spoke the Hub.

BIO Kat is a NYC based illustrator who loves to incorporate a painterly texture to their digital work which happens to be their favorite medium. Their love for clothing also shines bright especially in making sure the details are prominent. This current exhibition will include all that and their love for the Mexican culture they grew up with. A love letter to Mexico.
