A Silent Auction / Estate Sale
to Benefit Spoke the Hub Dancing
and the North Shore Animal League
Always sharp, witty and stylish, Edith (1924-2012) passed away in early September. She was a friend to many and the muse to her husband, James Houser, who was both a sculptor and a painter. Edith also had an abiding love for all animals, the arts and artists; thus, her estate has asked Spoke the Hub to coordinate a “silent auction” to find the contents of Edith’s apartment a good home and to raise money for her two loves, Art and Animals. All proceeds from this auction will benefit both the North Shore Animal League and local community arts organization, Spoke the Hub Dancing.
