Local Produce

Local Produce For All Seasons is all about Brooklyn: its diversity, vitality and creative spirit as expressed through dance, music, theater, literature, and visual art. It was created in an effort to highlight Brooklyn’s vast and varied wealth of artistic talent as well as to give Brooklyn-based performers a chance to develop a larger home audience and more paid work opportunities on their home turf.

Spoke the Hub’s “Gowanus Wildlife Preserve Concert Series” invites performers of all stylistic bents, ages, and levels of notoriety, to share their work with the public in the underserved industrial and residential neighborhood of the Gowanus in Brooklyn. The Preserve hopes to promote, preserve, and protect all manner of wild theatrical flora and fauna, while breathing new life and vigor into the polluted water and air surrounding the Gowanus Canal.
