Spoke the Hub Presents Works on the Wall (WOW) JANET PEDERSEN Opening Reception: February 7th 7:00-9:00 pm Exhibit: February 1 – 28, 2025 Steps a collection of dance-themed paintings Janet Pedersen, a local painter better known for her landscape painting, got on a dancer jag not too long ago when she was seriously injured and confined to her bedroom. The result was a series of drawings and paintings of dancers that I find quite fresh, direct and immediate. I thought you might be interested in this exhibit too - and who knows? I thought she might be interested in meeting YOU! From reading her bio and interview, it sounds like she may have not yet worked with real, live, contemporary dancers in the flesh...hmmmm.
